About the Artist

Catherine Adell is a comedian, puppeteer and actor. Catherine has worked in Los Angeles, New York, Prague and other cities around the world. She strives to be a responsible and active participant in her artistic practice and community. 

She graduated from California Institute of the Arts (Cal-Arts) with a BFA in Acting. During her studies, she had the opportunity to work with Erik Ehn and other artists concerned with social justice, specifically through the “Arts in the One World” program. She joined the International Genocide Scholars Association and had the opportunity to travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Rwanda and Uganda to attend conferences with some of the worlds leading scholars.

Catherine is active in charitable organizations benefitting the homeless and people in need, animal advocacy, and LGBTQ rights.
